About the Pooh Corner Club

Thank you for joining the Pooh Corner Club through our website – pooh-country.co.uk.

It is our hope that every Pooh Fan will join the Pooh Corner Club. The main reason for us to create the Club part of the web-site was to enable you, the Pooh Fan, to become part of the world-wide family of people of all ages, beliefs and nationalities who love Winnie-the-Pooh. The PenPal section in particular is for everyone over twelve years of age to contact other Pooh Fans so that you can become friends. It is interesting to remember that Christopher Robin and his friends from 100-Acre Wood are all quite different from each other. Very much the same as we are different, in so many ways, from people who live in another environment even in the same country as ourselves such as in the countryside or in a city. How interesting it is for a PenPal in Australia to exchange ideas and thoughts with another Pooh Fan in Europe, America or Asia.

The way we have designed the website will enable us to give discounts to Pooh Corner Club members who purchase on-line. Apart from the special introductory discount you also receive a discount every time you buy on-line and, if you have remembered to enter the date of your birthday, you will receive an additional discount on your birthday each year as well.

We have no connection with Walt Disney and are not financed by any outside agency. The way we are able to exist is by your support when you make a purchase either on-line or if you visit us here in Hartfield, East Sussex (otherwise known as Pooh Country). However, visiting us is FREE and discovering the real Pooh Places is FREE. We hope that one day you will be able to visit Pooh Country and walk in the footsteps of the real Christopher Robin. If you do, then start your ‘EXPOTITION’ at the Pooh Corner shop by collecting a FREE Map. We also have illustrated walking guides, a range of souvenirs & postcards and a selection of something to eat and drink in Piglit’s Tea-room and Garden – and a mountain of Pooh-phernalia to discover as well!
